Perfect example right here!!!! I have lived in both Dallas and Houston, so I can tell you Dallas does in fact have more ATTITUDE. Does it make the people worse than Houston, well that a matter of personal taste. Dallas is a white collar city and for some unknown reason, white collar cities seem to have a little more pretentiousness in them, ie, San Francisco, Boston, etc. On the other hand, more blue collar cities like Houston, Chicago or Pittsburgh seem to have more down to earth types. Maybe its because blue collar types are easier pleased by a beer or bowling whereas white collar types require martinis and polo to satisfy them.
In any case, both cities are GREAT, you just have to find your niche and go with it. If not then do what I did....MOVE!!!!

Gosh, can't you take a little humor ? We may be more snotty but you guys lack a sense of humor and to live in Houston you would think that would be really necessary.
BTW, I like Houston alot except they let all the criminals go there when they get out of Huntsville.

Is that one of the "special" buses that all of us down here in Houston use to evacuate to Dallas when we get a storm? If so, then no I havent.

People here are mostly cool, oyu have your people who have more money than others as you do anywhere but I haven't really run across any attitudes.
