First let me apologize. Socketz kindly told me to stop repeating questions that have been asked and answered before.

I have looked but would like to know the best way to find rentals. I plan of buying eventually but figure as I relocate I should familiarize myself first.

I have checked out move.com.................any other suggestions? I would like to stay in dallas city limits.

Thanks

nu2dfw - I wasn't yelling atcha :-) It's just there are a couple of active threads already going on with that same subject.

As for apartments, I live in West Plano in some really nice apartments in Willow Bend (1-2 mill dollar homes are across the street). I've referred several others on the board to this location and they were impressed....

Here I'm on the tollway, the 190 and about 5 mins from the Dallas county line. You couldn't ask for a more convenient spot.

If you do a search on the phrase "La Ventura" you'll find the threads where I discuss the spot with others. Good luck.

Check out value price or value place.com. they are basically studio apartments very small but you get tv sink bathroom, frig, stove. I"m staying in one now its about $230 a week. I'm sure prices are different in different areas. I think there is one in irving.

We had to get my wife an apartment because she got a job offer well before we sold our house. The best place we found was Seven Oaks in Garland, they allowed month to month leases. We went unfurnished and went to RentWay and just rented a bedroom and living room set for a few months. It wound up being about half the price of a furnished apartment.
