Which hospital or OB for labor/delivery? (Trinity, Lewisville, Baylor)
We're moving from Chicago to Flower Mound this week and I need to find an OB (since I'm 20 weeks pregnant). Does anyone have any preferences?
I'm also not sure which hospital is better since the doctors I'm looking at all have privileges at different hospitals. The choices are Trinity Medical Center, Lewisville, or Baylor-Grapevine.
Thanks so much!

When my son was born we were in Baylor Grapevine for almost three weeks. My wife and I could not have been happier with the care and the staff at that hospital. With one exception. I slept on the fold out chair every night. By day six I was almost crippled. When we were leaving I mentioned to a nurse how glad I would be not to have to sleep on that anymore. Her Response , "Honey, did no one tell you they can bring you a roll-away."

my friend and her daughter have gone to same OBGYN since mom moved here from Chicago more than 20 yrs agao
Maurice Gagnon--he delivers at Baylor-Grapevine--the daughter had a baby there a year ago--thought she had pretty good experience--she had excellent labor/delivery nurse ... and they tried to help her with the nursing situation..

I had my son at Trinity Medical under the care of Dr. Louis Montanaro. I was treated very well by the staff while there. Dr. Montanaro uses Trinity and Plano Presby or at least did when I had my son a few years back. His office is located across the street from Trinity. He is an excellent Dr. Many people use him. His nurse is very good as well. The care you receive from this office is very persoanable. You see one doctor and generally one nurse with the exception of a sub once in a while.
One other note...Dr. M was not even on duty the weekend I had my son. I had my son on Christmas morning. Dr. M was there for another patient when I arrived on Christmas Eve morning. He delivered her baby and then stopped by to check on me before leaving for his weekend off. He told me that he would come back to the hospital after his family had dinner and went to a movie that evening if I still had not had my son. I think someone in his family was having a b-day. Anyway, I had not had my son yet and low and behold he came back at 11:00. I had my son shortly after midnight and Dr. M delivered him even though he was not on call. To top it off Dr. M stayed with me until early morning to make sure I was okay after delivering my 10 llb boy. I can't begin to tell you how much that impressed me. That was first class in my book. I think he even had another patient come in and he delivered that patient's baby before going home to his family Christmas morning. Dedication in my book and still met his families needs.

Ob/gyn
Just wanted to add my two cents...
My daughter and I use Dr Kerry Neal he is in practice at Comprehensive Womens Healthcare in Baylor Grapevine.
My daughter is 25 and trying to get pregnant. We would not ever choose another Dr. We love him and his staff!
