The radiant barrier alliance would say shingle temperature goes up only 2-5 degrees on a hot summer day.

Does onyone knows what will happen if I paint all my interior walls of my house with a low-e paint (i.e metallic paints have lower e-value than common wall paints). What if I paint the ceilling? What if I paint the part of walls behind the radiators? Am I going to save energy for heating at winter or cooling at summer? Anyway, I like metallic decorative paints.
