Either you don't get around much or your image of 'homely' is very different from the general population. I'm tempted to post this in those cities' forums and hear the responses to that assertion.

This one is pretty good too. LOL!!!! I know plenty of available good looking women here in Dallas that are not "shallow, materialistic or bloodsuckers". You can find those kind ANYWHERE.

Some like sharks, some like flounder, some like minnows, others like whales... We're pretty sure you don't like sharks!

"It's nice and all but the people are so fake and when you ask someone from Plano where they're from they're quick to let everyone know they're from 'West Plano' and many times they may even let you know what subdivision they live in. "
I hear people talking about this alot when I'm in line at places like Chipolte.
However, every city has these types of places.
Plano was 'THE' place to be for so long that alot of folks there haven't realized that 'THE' status has headed to the northern latitudes of Dallas.

It seems to me that the ones characterizing women by where they are (ie. San Antonio, Austin, Houston or Dallas) are just as, if not more, shallow than any of the materialistic people that are being talked about. Are you telling me it's wrong to flaunt your money AND it's wrong to be good looking in the metroplex areas? Hmmmmm, does that mean there are nothing but a bunch of ugly rich women in the Dallas area? I'm a woman, but I think most men would jump all over ugly and rich.

Dude is nuts. There are alot of beautiful women in Dallas.
And this is coming from someone that has spent the last 15 years in Socal.
Some just love to hate, so they make things ugly.

I agree totally. And...most people in Dallas call people from up North (Plano, McKinney, etc) "$30,000 Millionaires". The majority of people in Plano, Frisco, etc. that like to portray rich people...are really just putting it all on credit. You won't find any $30,000 millionaires in HP.

HAHA!! The people I know would rather die than live in the Plano area. Plano has a really high opinion of themselves if they think everyone looks at them with envy!
The stereotypical Dallas person is easy to find, but there are plenty of places in Dallas where you can live well and the people are not overly materialistic and don't feel a need to flaunt their money.

As I mentioned in another thread, Plano is still in that 'THE' status stage that they are slowly losing to their nieghbors up north. In 5 years I think Plano will be an area that is not talked about so much. Nice area, but it seems the trend here is to always look for the next best thing.
