They pay a lot in taxes and that filters down into the schol systems. Wouldnt you like to share the same grocery store as Troy Aikman?

All these people live in Plano.

You dont need to live in a $1,000,000 house in order to share the same school system, stores, restaurants, parks, etc as the wealthy. All you have to do is live down the street from them. The Legacy area is close to where these rich people live. And like I said this is my first house. I am young and just starting a family. I just graduated from college a few years ago.

Dave, where did you get your information. That list shows Troy Aikman Ford, which has been closed for about a year now.

Alan Tudyk does not live in Plano. He graduated from Plano Senior High, but he does not live there any longer.

I would also have my doubts about Kristin Holt still living in Plano.

Nastia Liukin, didn't I hear them keep talking about Parker (not Plano) during the Olympics?

I think you might need to check your sources.

Wow, WRONG again. Why am I NOT surprised .

Troy Aikman - Dallas Cowboy Quarterback, Pro Ball Hall of Fame & Owner of Troy Aikman Ford - I think most of us know who he is. He used to live out in Irving in Hackberry Creek. He lives IN COPPELL now. Pretty sure Coppell and Plano can't get confused with each other.

Lance Armstrong - 7 time Tour de France Winner He calls AUSTIN home. He GREW UP in Plano though.

Steve Harvey - radio host and comedian Been gone out of the Dallas area for AGES!

Stephen Katz - film & TV writer - wrote The Contract Okay, but not a common household name.

H. Ross Perot - billionaire businessman & 2 time presidential candidate Lives IN THE CITY LIMITS OF DALLAS. In Preston Hollow. NOT a "nouvea rich" guy at all. Not a flashy guy either and neither is his very dignified wife.

Greg Ray - former auto racing driver in Indy Racing League.

Scott Mechlowicz - star of Eurotrip No Scott Mechlowicz lives in Collin County. Besides, why would one be impressed with this one

Jennifer Vasquez - contestant on reality hit Big Brother 6 on CBS WOW! I'm impressed. NOT

Kristin Holt - host of G4's Cheat! and former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader
Again, SO not impressed. A TON of the Cheerleaders live ALL over the Metroplex and come from all states. Oh, FYI, Judy Trammel, the CHOREOGRAPHER for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders lives IN GARLAND

Anousheh Ansari - Plano businesswoman & first female space tourist Lots of business people live in Plano.

Alan Tudyk - stage & film actor, Serenity, Dodgeball No "Alan Tudyk" lives in Collin County.

Nastia Liukin - gymnast - NO, she lives IN PARKER. But then Parker is EAST of 75 so you might not be familiar with that area.

Wanna try some more

LOL!!! Well, we all know that Troy Aikman Ford has been closed but some people just keep on believing what they want.

There are TONS of celebrities from all over the DFW area. Should we name them all???? PLEASE! It could be a lot of fun. Then Dave might see that some GREAT people come from Dallas County. Pretty please, can we????

Yes, Nastia lives IN PARKER!. We were in the parade. My hubby got to drive one of the Collin County "dignitaries" in one of our classics. She was actually VERY NICE, down to earth and all. Real nice lady. Nastia's mom was really sweet as were all of the other "celebs" there.

so that website has a few technical errors. No big deal. Collin County is still the best place to raise a family in the DFW area. And a lot of wealthy people think so too since its the wealthiest county in the state of Texas! And the 23rd wealthiest county in the United States.

look at this link it shows the best places to live in DFW. I dont see Desoto, Lancaster, Duncanville, or Cedar Hill there. Looks like all the northern areas are listed though.

Psst, that is called an OPINION! Besides a LOT of "wealthy" people think other areas of the metroplex are great to raise a family too.

Yeap last I check Highland Park, University Park and Southlake are not located in collin county. In fact Flower Mound has a higher per capita income than Plano. Not saying folks in Plano are poor and downtrodden of course. Dave since you work downtown I challenge you to drive thru Kessler Park in North Oak Cliff and report your findings.

the fact is dave, if you saw Obama and the soon to be first lady when they were regular citizens, you would have thought them to be inferior and "ghetto" simply because of the color of their skin.

when you drove by desoto and cedar hill, you did not see a bunch of poor people, you saw black people who, by your thinking, are inferior. Look, you are entitled to your opinions, but dont change your argument into an economic status issue when your argument was based on race all along.
