Hello Everyone:
My husband and I are relocating to Dallas next February. We have a daughter that will be 10 months at the time we move. We have decided that we want to rent initially (the first year) until we get to know the area better. We have narrowed our search to the area of Uptown/Turtle Creek. We would like to know which apartment communities are best according to safety, management, location. We are looking at a two or three bedroom apartment or loft. Our budget is anywhere up to $2600 a month. Your suggestions are appreciated!

The turtle creek area is nice. For $2600 any where you decide is going to be really nice.

What DaveG99 said. Though I don't think you're going to find many three bedrooms unless it's one of the high rise or townhomes in the area. While you mention UpTown/Turtle Creek, you might want to include the State/Thomas area in your search. That's along McKinney, as in UpTown but closer to downtown. It's recognized by the two principal streets in the neighborhood, State and Thomas.
