what is ridiculous is the amount of condos still going up in chicago for 750k to 8million dollars---geeesh
back on topic there are a good amount of condo projects (mixed use) going on all over the metroplex and especially closer the core of the city.
it doesn't seem to be 100% condo at all. Most are tied to a hotel or other mixed use which is a major plus as you get tons of conveniences at your door step.
in the uptown area there are a lot of townhome style developments up or in construction.
the styles vary which is great because you don't get a cookie cutter feel.
even if the prices may seem a little high for texas (200k-1Million) keep in mind it is still cheaper than many other cities. i.e- chicago
