Check into Decatur & Rhome TX (both are Decatur ISD)
Housing is available at reasonable prices in Rhome area if you're not terribly picky, you can get 2 ac for under $50K with a liveable doublewide (that allows horses Check Ridge Trail, Rhome, TX 76078. )

Decatur area uses helicopter (located in Decatur) to transport to FtW hospital for emergencies that can't be handled at local hospital in Decatur

Good luck...

There is a really nice subdivision in Rhome, called Zion Estates that has no mobile homes, and every home sit has 3 plus acres. We are in Northwest ISD which is Highly sought after. We are about a 30 min. drive to Cook's Childrens Hospital. Rhome is the best location for easy acess to Fort Worth, and Dallas. There are currently no homes for sale in our subdivision, but let me know if you are still looking for a house, we are going to list ours for sale. I hate to do it, but we are relocating to Louisiana for my husbands Job .
