Has there been a lot of flooding in the Rockwall and Rowlett area?

Not recently. The only road that closes due to high water is right on the Rowlett/Garland border on Miller Rd at Rowlett Creek. Everyone just kind of knows that when flash floods hit or a lot of rain to avoid that area.

It does not flood any more or any less than any other area. As with anywhere else don't buy a home that backs up to a creek.
