The only problem going west into Denton is the light at Swisher/35 - it's not programed for anything more than horse and buggy travel, so I turn at Shady Shores and take a side street to get to 35.

To middle school: 40-minute bus ride, including stops
To high school: 7 minute drive
Last year: one class was in my basement, the others were within a ten minute walk

Default commute between sachse and las colinas

i'm contemplating a job in Las Colinas and currently live in Sachse. When i interviewed it took barely over 30 minutes to get there via 190 - 161 tollways (not rush hour). Does anyone know what the commute would be like in rush hour (both morning and evening)?

78 south from sachse to 190
190 west - becomes 161 south
business located at 161 and Gateway Dr.

15-20 seconds 3 times a week when I work from home (hey, I have to walk into my home office from the espresso machine).

~20 minutes the other 2 days/week when I drive non-highways for 8 miles to get to the office.

Long. Grapevine is 15-20 minutes away from Lewisville. I'd say Allen to Grapevine is close to an hour with good traffic.
