I agree. Valley Ranch/ Los Colinas is were I would rent and apartment. The area is safe and the majority of the apartments are fairly new.

Look in the Las Colinas Urban center... there are many new apartment buildings around lake carolyn and within a walking distance to the Champion Trails.

I am also moving to the area but I am looking at renting a house but have had no luck online I am not sure if there is more than one newspaper for the area or not. Any help would be appreciated

Not a good area. As a rule for Irving apartments, I usually advise to search in the 75063 and 75039 zips. That's Las Colinas and Valley Ranch areas.
