Sachse to downtown Dallas (Coppell: house, moving, cars)

We are trying to decide where to move- Coppell or Woodbridge in Sachse. Both my husband and I work downtown and leave the house at around 8am. Does anyone have an idea of the average commute time from Sachse to downtown at that time?

Lessee.... Hwy. 78 to 190 (George Bush Tollway), to 75 (Central) to downtown. I'm guessing between 45 and 55 minutes. Hour or more on some days.

Your MAJOR problem is going to be Hwy 78. Two lanes each direction, TONS of cars all trying to go the same way. Although the leaving the house around 8am is going to help SOME it won't a whole lot. That time of morning it is going to be an EASY 15 minutes to even sniff 190. Also depends on how backed up it is coming out of Woodbridge and onto 78. Once you hit 190 it won't take long. I'm right at 190 & 78 and to get downtown leaving around 8:45ish is about 40-45 minutes ir traffic is moving pretty good. After 9:00 and no traffic at all and I can be there in 30 minutes.

Over an hour from Sachse to downtown. Longer on the way home.
