Default Commute Time: Frisco to Valley View Center Area

Relocating to Dallas soon. Strongly considering Frisco as possible home location. Office will be on the south side of the LBJ Freeway across from the Valley View Center.

What can I expect for commute time if I'm leaving at approx. 6:30am to go to work. Similarly, what will the afternoon commute look like if I'm leaving at 5:30 to 6:00pm

Assume a location in Frisco close to the Tollway (around Legacy Christian School).

It depends on if you take the Tollway all the way down or Preston all the way down. Either way, you're talking somewhere around 20-30 minutes at that hour in the morning. However, it'll be longer at that time in the evenings.

I don't know about that morning commute, but I'd say 45 minutes on that return up the tollway at that hour. I am on the tollway then coming from downtown. I get off of it where you would be getting on and it's backed up from that point up north. (Which is why I get off and take side streets the rest of the way, but I live in Dallas, not Frisco.)
