Question Alarm (fire and burgler) installation business in Dallas

Hello all!

I am considering moving to Dallas for school. My boyfriend will be moving with me - we have decent jobs in Boston area right now. Is anyone here in the alarm business around Dallas? I know it's very hard anywhere in the country to get and keep a job right now, but how is the alarm business looking right now around Dallas area? He is a licensed low voltage electrician in MA and we know for a fact that he can simply transfer over his license (after paying a hefty fee, of course!) We have seen a good number of alarm installation job openings just on Craiglist.com, but I thought this would be a very good place to ask this question.

Other then that, I am very much looking forward to experiencing Dallas. I am interviewing this weekend at UT Southwestern. My boyfriend had been stationed in OK while in the Army, and visited Dallas frequently - he absolutely loved it and would really like to move to Dallas.

Thank you for reading!
