I don't know if they have cheese wiz.

I've heard Billadelphia does but I've never been there.
Thanks for the suggestions! After looking at their menu, Fred's seems to be the winner. I will be stopping there on the way to VA!
Thanks again!

I'll add a few to the list.

Cafe Roma (or it might be Roma Cafe) on Greenville Avenue south of Walnut Hill on the east side. Great (and cheap) Italian food...and the best little yeast rolls that you just pop in your mouth...one after the other.

DiMassi's Mediterrean Buffet---This is a Houston restaurant that FINALLY arrived in Dallas. There's one on the NW corner of Preston and Frankford, and I beleive there's one in Irving off of MacArthur & LBJ You would not believe the assortment on this buffet.

Ditto's to an earlier comment for Cafe Amore on Coit in the Promenade Center.

Fernando's Mexican restaurant at Midway and NW Highway..."W" was there last Saturday night.

A good turkey burger can be had at Gazebo Burger @ Preston/Royal...SW corner.

I went here today for lunch. I forgot to ask for Paul, but what a great place! It's rare to find real, authentic "mom and pop" type places in Dallas. The Italian roast beef sandwich is good, although I forgot to tell them "no cheese". I'm definitely going back!
