No, but it can be concluded that you have a very poor grasp on history in cultural anthropology.

No one is saying you're a racist. You do seem to have some views that somewhat fly in the face of race and American History, but that's neither here nor there.
And no, I do not think that Obama is the second coming or the "messiah" as some republicans like to call those so called "evil godless liberals" that supported him. He is human, he has his flaws, he is a politician and I'm pretty sure there are things he may do in the long run that I'll agree with, and other things that I may not agree with. I wasn't a fan of Bush's politics, but even I can admit I admired his focus on faith-based initiatives and paying attention to the AIDS crisis in Africa.

I just have to jump in here quickly to point out...he is indeed AFRICAN-AMERICAN in the truest sense of the word. Father=African, Mother=American....AFRICAN AMERICAN.
Please carry on, as this curiously insightful discussion on FRISCO is quite entertaining.

The reason's behind Frisco's boom isn't rocket science:
- An abundance of cheap undeveloped land
- Close proximity to major employment centers in adjacent Frisco
- Great access to DFW
- The reputation of Collin County
- The extension of the Tollway
- Located in one of the fastest growing metros in the US
All of these things are a right recipe for suburbanization and rapid growth. However I think that the expansion of Frisco's urbanized area will slow a bit due mainly to increasing gas prices.

Well the fact of the matter is Frisco boomed because Plano ran out of land. It all started with Plano. This also applies to Allen and McKinney. They did a great job in attracting major employers to the area.

I'm just curious now, as to how my original post got so thread-jacked that NOW it's all about racism and white-flight, instead of just answering my questions...... hmmmmm.....

Basically, one of the posters floated the theory of White Flight as a contribution to Frisco's growth, another poster took exception to that, someone bought Obama in, and all hell broke loose.
That being said, I think that South-To-West's reasons for Frisco's growth is the best explanation. I will also add that many school districts in Collin County have a reputation for excellence, and that is attractive to a lot of people. Plano has evolved from a bedroom community of Dallas into a multi-faceted community with it's own employement centers, so essentially, Frisco is a bedroom community of Plano as well as Dallas.
Could white flight be a factor? Possibly, but I doubt that was the sole reason for the growth of Frisco, or it was the main reason for the vast majority of people that moved there.
