Default DeSoto is a nice place to live

My family moved there in 1990 and we lived in the city for 16 years. In my opinion, it is a great place for families. Many of the neighborhoods are well-maintained and the crime rate is low. It is also a diverse community with wide variety of housing choices, ranging from apartments and starter homes to $1,000,000+ mansions.

You might also want to check out the cities of Cedar Hill and Lancaster, which border DeSoto, as well.
