Denton County breaks ground on its rail agency's link to DART service.

From Staff Reports
Denton County took a big step toward linking to DART rail service Friday, breaking ground on its A-train rail line near the future site of its Hebron Station in Lewisville.
The 21-mile rail line will stretch from Denton to Carrollton. The rail service, which is being built by the Denton County Transportation Authoritiy, is expected to open in December 2010.

This will be great. It will relieve some of the traffic on I35. It will also help the students attending UNT.

They should've started 2 years ago. In August, I'll be joining thousands of other cars as we merge onto I35 from the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge.
