Hello,

Can anyone please give me some information regarding Wolfe City? My wife is thinking of buying a farm there for investment purpose, hoping that the property value will rise given the exected growth of the Dallas metro area. I'm not sure it's such a good idea as I believe the growth is actually headed northward through the Collin and Grayson counties, rather than eastward/north-eastward through Hunt and Fannin, especially now that the Texas Transportation Corridor project appears to be dead. I reckon that Wolfe City appears to be way out of the way of the project path of growth.

Any info would be great appreciated. Thanks!

Duke

If I were to be on the hunt for land to purchase for investment purposes............. Wolfe City would not be on the radar or even close to it.

Will you have to drive in to Dallas to work?

My parents live in Poetry/SW Hunt County and the area is growing, but not quickly. Greenville is OK for shopping/restaurants, but Rockwall is MUCH better.
