Baby Modeling in DFW - how to get started?
Hi!
I have a beautiful 4 week old baby boy, and I think he would be perfect for commerical print modeling.. however I have no idea what I am doing and don't really know how to get him started.. some of the agencies here have said that they don't take kids until toddler age or if they do, they have to be sitting up on their own.. but I know somehow this isn't true for all agencies! If you have any experience with baby modeling, please share with me any contact/information in general you have.. thanks so much!

Yes, Campbell is legit, but I don't think they'll take her baby at such a young age. What's the rush? They prefer them to sit up and they can get a better of what the child will look like at 6 months as opposed to 4 weeks.
Advertisers only hire children that fit in certain sizes and there isn't much demand for newborn clothing. Those sizes sell themselves. Flip through the JCPenney ads and you'll see what I'm talking about. There isn't much work at that age anyhow and usually those that work that early are siblings of children already signed witht he agency.

Seems that way. Out of curiosity I checked the Kim Dawson (another legit agency) site and it looks like they start with size 2T.

Has your newborn expressed an interest in modeling?

My baby is just shy of two weeks old and my wife won't even allow her out of the house yet much less modeling! At a few weeks old you shoudl be concentrating on feeding and makign sure the babies needs are met not putting them to work!

This thread made me think back to those newborn days. It was all I could do to get to the grocery store between sleeping (both of us!), feedings, changings... . Photo shoots? Go-sees? Hardly!
