Smile Jobs in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Area?

Hello to all. My husband and I are thinking of relocating to Texas from Florida. We just got back from a weekend vacation there and absolutely fell in love! The people, atmosphere, just everything seems great. We would like to know how the job market is.

Is it easy in certain towns (Southlake, Bedford, etc..) to get a job over the other? Who is really hiring in the area that we could live decent for right now until I finish my nursing degree? My husband has two degrees in liberal arts and criminology and we have checked out the police departments. But other than that what else is out there?

Also, which area is better out of Bedford, Euless, Southlake and Grapevine? We enjoyed all but woudl like the local persepctive.

All advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

What kind of work do you do? Healthcare is booming, but other professions (administrative, IT, accounting, CSR) are not. That will make a BIG differenc ein your job search.

frankly--do some internet jobs based searching -- before you set your mind on relocating here
while this might not last for years--there is a slowdown and people/companies are still shedding work force...
you don't say what your skills are now
Southlake has highest COL in the area because the housing is much more expensive
but other areas are not cheap==even nice apartments..
do a search for the towns you mentioned and read some of the threads--there are plenty of them
