Hi, I need advice in going from Mckinney to Midlothian, using public transportation (dart, etc)..

Not possible. Midlothian has no public transportation, and DART stops at Plano. You can take a cab...

McKinney also does not have public transportation. Most people in McKinney that work in downtown that use DART drive to the station in Plano which is the closest one to them.
If there was public transportation between the two.......... YIKES that could be an all day adventure ONE WAY.

Do you currently live IN McKinney? If not.......... why on earth would you want THAT drive? Find something closer to work. If it was for just one day that would be okay but not more than that. Even 2-3 times a week this drive would be a MAJOR PITA!

yeah I now the commute is a killer,, but the job market (IT) is not good and this is the only offer I got so far in more than a month... I'm just renting in Mckinney and my lease expires on Octuber so I will be moving to a more closer area then. but till that I will have to take it.

You might talk to your management company at your apartment and see if there is any way out of your lease. Even ask if they have a property closer to your work that they would be willing to let you "trade". Never heard of them doing this but it is worth asking. Your going to suck up a LOT of money in gas, car wear & tear and maintenance in the next few months with that commute. Read your lease real good first and see if there is anything at all in there about being able to get out of it due to job circumstance like it being "out of the area" or something.

Your best bet is getting to the DART light rail station near North Central Expwy & Parker really early and hope to find a parking spot.
