Seriously, though...

Look into Junius Heights or Munger Place and near Lipscomb Elem. We transfer into Lipscomb - it's a great little school and will go to 5th grade starting with the 09-10 school year.

If you'd like to meet some of the parents, let me know. We get together every now and then.

Mrs Gonzales (principal) at Lipscomb is a force of nature! She was principal of the year last year I believe. Also see OEDECPTA : Old East Dallas Early Childhood PTA

Also when talking about Oak Cliff, remember that it is home to TAG and SEM at Townview.

The principal at NDHS is a Woodrow alum - he told me last year that they had lost around 200-300 students because of apartment tear-downs. Remember that the NDHS attendance zone is mostly on the east side of Central Expressway.
