I'm set to relocate to the Richardson area in about a month and I'm looking for good gym recommendations.

I was a member of the Lifetime Fitness near Raleigh, NC, which was a nice gym, but a little too expensive and... suburban-ish (family oriented I guess). Perhaps the Lifetime Fitness facilities are different there (in that case, GREAT!)?

Are there any gyms within 10-15 minutes of central Richardson that cater to the mid to late 20's crowd? I don't necessarily want a meat market, but I believe being around younger single professionals may give me a better opportunity to get to know people in the area.

I go to 24 Hour Fitness at Coit & Campbell. I think the address is technically Dallas but Richardson is on the other side of the street. Personally I like it a lot, especially since that club does not have a pool so the locker rooms are not humid and do not have wet floors. You can get a membership there that allows you to use any of their clubs so you can use one on the weekends close to home and one during the week close to the office. Even if you go to that 24 Hour Fitness location right after work it is crowded but not so crowded that you cannot do your workout!

(There is also a 24 Hour Fitness at Campbell and Plano in Richardson but I think the one at Coit and Campbell is nicer.)
