BS in Business Management of Information Systems. But I never used my degree and instead work as a commercial roofing estimator/inspector as well as run my own residential roofing business.

Math, but working in Social Media and actually I got the remote job when I was in Austin a couple years ago and it's a Silicon Valley company I work for.
Husband is Psych/Sociology major working as a semiconductor engineer and we got a job transfer to come here, but it is a Silicon Valley company too so he also works from home.

My BS and MS is in Math as well. I was working in retail as an analyst but I got laid off. I had no problems finding another job with better pay. Now I am an analyst in healthcare.

I'm a young accountant (with two years of experience) looking to move to Dallas this summer. I was curious about which fields people have had success in. I've been searching Monster and CarreerBuilder for weeks now and Dallas seems like a fairly promissing job market. Am I correct in thinking this, or should I expect to wait tables for my first few months in Dallas?

You shouldn't have a problem but open yourself to both large corporations and midsize also. Alot of independent contractors around here also and they will need your help during tax time.
Oh and for me it is double major in healthcare...double the pay

Just curious, why Dallas over Atlanta? Atlanta is doing well isn't it?
Anyway, welcome to Dallas.
