Default Townhomes for rent??

My husband and I will be relocating from Washington, DC to Dallas in the next couple of weeks. His company is providing us with temporary housing for the first few months, but we are looking for a townhome (pet friendly) to rent in the Flower Mound, Grapevine, or Southlake areas for about six months before we buy a home there. Any ideas? Thanks!

From what I've gathered, Flower Mound doesn't have any townhomes. But for how cheap Texas is compared to D.C (I grew up there) you can easily rent a home with a yard for super cheap.

There is a large group of townhomes for rent in Coppell near the Lewisville border. They are right on 121 near the Verizon office tower. Grapevine also has a couple of townhome communities that are individually owned units. Watch the MLS listings to see when they are available for rent.

Las Colinas has townhomes tha investor's bought in to rent out.
IT is just adjacent to Grapevine, and has easy access to Flower Mound, and Southlake since it's at the juction of 114, 121, 161, 635.

Ashton Woods (2300 sq ft.)
Nearby Valley Ranch:
Hemingway Court
Billingsley Townhomes
Unspecified Luxury Townhome builder on other side of 635
Nearby Coppel:
Keep going north on McArthur: several townhomes for rent in Coppell, which also offers relatively close access to Southlake, Grapevine, Flower Mound.

Nearby Lewisville:

Thank you so much for your advice. My husand is already in Dallas and I cannot wait to get down there! Right now we are looking at the Savoy at Shadow Ridge in Flower Mound, Fairways at Riverchase in Coppell and Waterford Court in Addison. Have any of you had experience with any of these? Thanks again!

Those areas are not anything like D.C. - I hope you weren't looking for something urban and sophisticated there...

Try the Oak Lawn / Turtle Creek / Uptown / Knox-Henderson areas for those types of townhomes.

Where will your husband be working? You don't want him to have to commute an hour each way! (Since you originally mentioned NE Tarrant, the areas Lakewooder mention will likely be a LONG commute through heavy traffic...)
