So this will be my first 4th of July in Dallas and I am trying to figure out what all to do. I am living in the Addison area but am looking for anything around the Dallas area, be it closer to downtown, Lower Greenville, or north towards Frisco. Fireworks are great but I am trying to find something away from all of the families. I am looking something that might be fun for ages between 23 and 27, no kids, no married couples. Bars with events or specials going on are great, adult geared festivals, or other things of that nature. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for yall's help.

I second that - best view of dowtown and all the celebrations will be from the Belmont Dallas Hotels | Historic Dallas Boutique Hotel | The Belmont Hotel - DJ Mark is great - he lives in Lakewood Heights and he's at a lot of places all over town. I remember one rockin' rooftop party in Deep Ellum....
