depending on where you are now living, maybe there are none and maybe 105.

I won't move there from NWA unless I had to because of health or something but I can think of reasons some might enjoy living in the metro area.

lower cost of living than many parts of the country.

good sports

friendly people

fairly strong job market

a great place to raise a family, especially if you have conservative views: that is the burbs, not the city itself..

Does this mean cojones or does this mean Idlewild-style balls with dancing and punch?

Housing is cheaper than many other areas of the country. In my case, it will be to be near the grandkids.

near the grandkids, that is why we moved there 20 years ago. Now they are grown, no longer live in Dallas but one lives right here in NWA and the other in OKC>

Well, both, Ringo.

The traditional style, and then you have the Heart Ball, the Margarita Ball, and the Cattleman's Ball, just to name a few.

There are jobs here

can't think of anything other reason for living here.

jdub2447 is on a distinguished road
We're not there yet. ETA, end of July. Can't wait.

Our top 5 reasons were:

1.) It's sheer size offers so much opportunity, culture, diversity, sports, etc.
2.) Family.
3.) Job market there destroys SWFL, where I'm from.
4.) Cost of living is lower, especially housing where I'm from.
5.) Great place to raise a young family.

Oh yeah, one huge reason was that it actually has seasons that differ from: "Am-I-really-melting-or-is-it-just-the-humidity-hot" and "I-think-my-skin-has-dripped-to-my-ankles-hot."
