Anyone know if Perot jr is going to sell circle T ranch and have a Mall go in there? Is that just a rumor? I honestly hope it is, I think it would look terrible. I don't want Trophy Club area turning into Frisco.

Circle T Ranch was suppose to already have a mall built. I know for sure that Macy's and Dillards were suppose to go in there. But I guess with the economy the way it is, the developers decided to hold off until things get better. This goes for Rayzor Ranch in Denton as well.

The project is still alive. It's not a mall, it's a mixture of a hotel, conference centers, retail places, residential homes and townhomes, and lots of parks and open space. The timing may have been delayed since they were supposed to start construction Q1 of 2009.

I don't think it will ever become Frisco and if it did, that wouldn't be bad. Frisco is a highly desirable area. I think they are going more for another Watter's Creek on a much larger scale.

That wouldnt be too bad I guess, I just didn't want an ugly mall to go in there. I rather it stay a ranch but we could use more shopping here besides southlake.
