You told the people on the CO forum that you had a blast on your vacation. You mentioned you had asthma and the altitude didn't bother you at all. Yet you posted on the Dallas forum how the altitude and cooler weather really kicked your asthma. No offense, but sometimes you really double-talk. It's hard to understand what works and what doesn't work for you. Of course, what works and what doesn't work is entirely your business.
Heaven forbid your family MADE you go to the mountains, but I'm glad you "had a blast" in spite of being forced to visit such a horrible place.

Nope. I avoided most of C-D all day. I was at church for most of the morning, 9-12:30. Lunch with the family. Outside by the pool for awhile after lunch. Took one kid somewhere for awhile, watched a movie with hubby, etc. I was only on here for a second and responded to the toll road thing that someone smoking dope posted. LOL!!!
I just had to have a good belly laugh over Canine's post.

No, I have not contradicted myself. However, it is obvious that you don't know much about asthma.
1. Asthma suffers can be triggered by different things. Weather, altitude, allergies, physical activity, etc.
2. I said prior that COLD DAMP weather was bad for most people with asthma. Including my daughter and myself. We were IN the mountains IN JULY!!! Totally different.
3. I never said that HOT HUMID weather contributed to my or my daughters asthma. I said, COLD HUMID DAMP weather does. Visit a hospital in the summer and then in the winter. You will see a HUGE difference in asthma sufferers visiting the hospital.
4. It was the ALTITUDE that contributed to my asthma while we were in the mountains. NOTHING about the weather doing it. A higher altitude has less oxygen which is what contributes to some people having altitude sickness and/or asthma symptoms. Asthma problems = less oxygen in the lungs. Higher elevatins = less oxygen. It wasn't a problem while just driving, walking, etc. It was when I did a LOT of physical excercise.
If your referring to my post on the Pikes Peak Cog Rail, no, my asthma did not bother me on that nor did the altitude. I wasn't RUNNING up Pikes Peak. I was RIDING on the train. It was when I was doing PHYSICAL ACTIVITY that it bothered my asthma. Like going MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDING! HUGE difference. BTW, I did enjoy my trip but I'm the type that can have a good time no matter where I am. I can usually see the good over the bad in most cases.
5. I've never said I didn't like tropical weather. I have said that the worst humidity that I've ever been in was down in Key West. So bad that it was to the point I removed every layer of clothing that was not needed (like underclothes). I've commented many times that I love the beach.
6. Stop putting words in my mouth. I NEVER said it was "horrible". I just said I PREFER the beach but my family wanted to head to the mountains and they out voted me. Sheez. Besides, I got to take my kids to an area of Colorado I grew up going to every summer that they haven't been to in the summer. They got to see Seven Falls, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, The North Pole, Royal Gorge, etc. Again, I'm a pretty happy person no matter where I am so it wasn't THAT big of a deal. If I flat out did not want to go my husband would not have let us go.
7. If one is congested, or has a lot of fluid in the lungs or such they also suggest going into the bathroom, closing the door and turning on a HOT shower. Don't have to get IN the shower but the steam and humidity help loosen it up, break it up and then one can cough it up. I've had to do this sooooo many times in the winter months to help my daughter breath at night. There is also another technique that the resp. therapist do in the hospital but one can do at home. The patient is on their side and you cup your hand and pat them on their back for 5-10 minutes. It seems like your doing it hard but your not. It breaks up the congestion in their lungs. The therapists actually have a "cup" they use and I was given some to use at home. Besides, why do you think they recommend HUMIDIFIERS to use at home?????
Me, bi-polar. No, I think your friend cupcake is the one that might suffer from that. She seems to think she is a "native" of Colorado after moving there at 16 and living there a few years. She has probably lived in Texas longer than she did Colorado. She makes remarkes like she is very familiar with California and Californians but hasn't lived there. Then she goes over to the Arkansas forums commenting on how backwards it is and would never even go there because she would not be able to understand their language HAHAHA!!! She can't understand English I guess.
Y'all are a trip.

Where did I say I moved here when I was 16? Find it please. You can't back up a thing you say. you just babble and babble. You don't know a thing about me. I know people in RL that use this site, if you want them to chime in how long I lived in Colorado I can do that. Finally one of them said in a post that they hate people ( you ) who come to the colorado forum and give people advice as to where to live, when they haven't even lived there!
Honestly I think you are a very unhappy person. People post because they don't like the heat or the traffic or whatever.. big whoop and you always have to do a personal attack on someone. For example the post above you called someone a dope smoker. You just can't help yourself but to keep insulting people, which shows you are seriously insecure. You have to try and belittle others to make yourself look better apparently and it's an epic fail.

I said you moved to COLORADO at 16. That is what YOU have posted.
No, I suggested the person VISIT before they even think about moving there. The poster in question said the same things I DID!
Hm, your the one giving out info about Dallas and you don't even live IN Dallas or one of the Dallas suburbs. Roanoke is part of Ft Worth.
Read that OP's other posts. And if you knew anything about the Dallas suburbs he mentioned you would understand why I said what I did. Geez. No, I don't need to belittle others. Your plenty good at that. Take a look of your posts on the Arkansas forum.
Whatever, I'm a pretty darn happy person and everyone around me can attest to. If I was the least bit unhappy I would be complaining all of the time on here. I don't.

So you're going to behave from now on?
Now if you could kindly answer my two questions, that would be loverly.

Are you going to behave? I have been. I've been pretty darn open and honest. Don't feel the need to go onto other states forums and put down their state, people, way of life or accents. .Yet for some reason you feel the need to bash all of the south and Texas thinking we all belong on Jerry Springer and shop at SuperWalmart. Remember those posts of yours? I also don't feel the need to complain non stop about where I live Or have you forgotten all of that?
I did answer your questions. Your the one that misread what I posted.
Oh well, enjoy yourself and complain away. I'm off to run some errands and play in the pool later w/ the kids
