AMO has gone negative now.

We will be back to 1970s style winters.

It looks like highcotton got trolled hard by the weather today. It certainly wasn't cold, but I think it may have been a bit wet for golf or any other outdoor activity

I was back in Chi over the weekend, at it was about 20. Driving home tonight, the thermometer said it was 70.

Yeah, that's fun to adjust to....

What does that mean, exactly?

Yep, the temperature was nice but the rain was a bummer for playing golf. But we need the rain and I needed to do some shopping anyway...

That's saying that next winter (the one that's going to start in about a year, not a few days) is when it's going to get cold. I think we're out of luck for 2012. We're halfway through December and I don't think I've had to wear a jacket yet.

We've had to scrape ice off the windsheilds a few times so far here in the Upstate of SC, but I don't think it's been as cold so far this year as last. If we end up in the Big D next year, we should like next winter (as long as we have a home w/a wood-burning fireplace and lots of spiced rum!).

December last year was mild, too. We had a high of 85 on the 21st last year! It wasn't until January/Februrary when we got really cold and had the snow/ice storm.
