Snow on the roofs in W. Plano, looks like it stopped coming down already. The thin layer of snow on the roofs does look pretty...... same temperature here as where you are. Dont put the shorts away yet though as Wednesday high will be in the 60's , perfect golf weather if you wear shorts.

Just a light dusting in Richardson, but predictably people are freaking out.

Nothing better than the first snow of the season in Dallas, especially when it's just a dusting to acclimate ya! Enjoy your snow, Dallas!

On the other hand, I've already been on my walk on the beach this am... in shorts and barefoot wading through the surf! We're still in front of that cold front, so it'll be reaching here shortly.

But, like everyone's stated, it'll be warming up in Dallas right behind your snow, so make the most of it while it lasts!

.

I've got a couple of Christmas light rides through the park cities, tonight and tomorrow night. Have to wear just about all the cold weather riding gear I have. Since they are slow rides, no one gets a chance to warm up.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but I just returned...

Well, this morning when I awoke and looked out the windows I saw this white stuff on the rooftops. I thought for a split second that maybe I was hallucinating. When I took the lil' pup out I realized it was cold, but I had no idea it was cold enough for thermals. The pup and I ran like the wind to get back inside and I slipped on a patch of snow and sprained my little toe. While on the ground caring for my sprained toe my lil' pup thought it'd be fun to lick my face. The resulting wetness on my cheek from puppy dog licks caused me to get a moderate case of congelatio. So after visiting the toe doctor and then the frostbite doctor I decided I should buy some thermals so I'd be ready for the next time we get dumped on with snow and cold. I'm hoping for a fast recovery...

PS - Have I mentioned that I don't like snow and cold...

Well I didn't get to see any snow. It must've fallen just after I went to sleep, if it even made it this far. It does finally feel like winter though. I guess we'll get a couple of days of normality.
