The streak isn't important. One day short of a record breaker doesn't mean too much. For the heat lovers, rest assured there will be many more days of over 100 degree weather. As far as those of us not too far south of the metroplex, we will be breaking the record. I'm thrilled ... NOT!

Bring on Winter even if we don't get the beautiful snow from 2010.
