Default Trying to remember the name of a Wax Museum

In about 1987 or so, my aunt too me to an incredible wax museum in or near Dallas. It was very detailed, and even had some graphic statues of beheadings with red bubbling fountains, etc! There was also a haunted house portion which scared the pants off of me. Does anyone remember the name of it, or know if it's still around? Thanks!

You're probably thinking of Louis Tussaud's Waxworks. It burned in 1988 but was rebuilt shortly after as Louis Tussaud's Palace of Wax. It's still there; it shares a building off of Belt Line Road and IH30 in Grand Prairie with Ripley's Believe It Or Not. It's not quite as dark and gothic as it used to be, but does contain a great homage to horror films.

A long time ago, it was inside Fair Park - that was the last time I visited!
