Default Moles--anyone had them and gotten rid of them

We are having a bad case of moles or voles at our old house...
before when we noticed their tunnels, we sprayed the yard with castor oil stuff which soaks in and makes them leave...
tried that this time when we noticed they were pretty bad but it has not made much difference...
they are causing some problems in our back yard especially by eating grass roots and causing erosion problems

anyone know an excellent exterminator that has actually gotten rid of them for you?
I think most exterminators don't have that much experience with them--it is difficult to locate their tunnels and bait them as often as they need to be watched...
thankfully we don't have any pets there now to worry about getting into the bait...
