Creek Trails development off Legacy and Alma (Dallas, Plano: lease, how much)

my son and his wife are looking at house for lease/rent in Creek Trails just south of Legacy...in west Plano
no children--just them
any info about that area as far as problems
currently they rent apt near Vista Ridge but his new job is in Dallas just south of Highland Park so they want to move to where their drive time would be about equal---

they have not been looking long and this is really the first house they have been inside--no agent working for them to find a lease house--

this house has had some updating for cosmetic purpose--like granite in kitchen and some retiling in bath and stuff...
it is fairly large for the neighborhood--just over 2000 sq ft with 3 bed/2baths up and half bath down--almost twice the sq ft they have now and some trees around the house for shade
zero lot home so yard is minimal but it is the last house on a cul de sac that borders a green belt area so there is no neighbor on one side...

they have general idea of the area -- her dad lives in Richardson not too far away--but one reason they really want to move to house is because of the bad neighbors in their apt complex...
don't want them to have same situation here
just wondered how much of that area might be leased SFR vs owner occupied
the local elem gets Recognized and the jr hi ranks acceptable so both of them are less than what I would look for if children were involved...
their lease is up end of sept but they did not want to look too far in advance because they did not think anyone would wait to lease or have firm idea of house would be available...

Is the plan for your son to take the tollway to south of Highland Park? (Do you mean Uptown area?). That's gonna be a hike.
