The Medical Center area is on the "up and coming" side. Unless you work at UT Southwestern or one of the other hospitals, I wouldn't even consider that area.

At your age and place in life, you'll have the most fun at the Monterrey.

I have been at The Monterey for a few months now and I just love it! I want everyone to know how smooth my whole move went! The staff is unbeatable! I leased with them not because it was the best price but because they were the kindest, funnest, most professional people I came across throughout my whole apartment search. Always willing to help my with anything I needed. A building is only as good as the crew who runs it. It's a new building with beautiful finish outs and I even got an adorable "move-in gift bag" as they called it. It was a cool Monterey cooler bag with some snacks, coupons, toiletries, cups etc. Very nice touch! The pool around noon on Saturday is alive and kickin. You have folks laying out, grilling, a few kids swimming -just exactly what one would like to be doing on a day off. Windsor participated in an event at Gingerman Pub last month for a chili cook-off. It was a blast! Outside event, they had great Windsor representation with an awesome tent, table cloth, free t-shirts and pretty good chili! I can definitely say I was proud to be a Windsor resident! Very happy to be here
