CravenClan is on a distinguished road
Hi Nita

Thanks, it went good, 7 days straight of driving in our RV, with 3 little kids!! whooo, it was good, and they were GREAT considering!!!!! But we really like dit, it is open and airy, yet close to shopping and stuff. I was amazed at all the retail, EVERYWHERE, it seemed like every city we drove through, had the same ol' stores...just like here!! Best Buy, Chilis, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, Petsmart, etc......so that was not a deciding factor for us, since it was not lacking anywhere.

We did look at Keller, and it reminded us of home. And the traffic seemed bad. We were going through there during the week, around lunchtime, and it seemed a little congested. Rockwall seemed that way too, but we just liked Rockwall better..Thanks so much for asking..

Hope you are well!!

Rowlett is a nice place, it is growing but a nice place. And it is small in population.
Try Parker, Lucus, Murphy, Wylie, Sachse or Nevada. Almost all those places have large property homes.

You may want to check out Benbrook just to the Southwest of Fort Worth. It has a small town feel, adjacent to a lake and good schools.

I like Rockwall, but I see it as more of a suburb (with 2 high schools) than I do as a small town. Small towns have 1 high school that the whole town rallies around whether they have kids in the school or not. At least that's the way I see it.

What about Weatherford, Prosper, Celina, Gunter? Gunter is an exemplary school district. It's north of Celina in Grayson County.

Terrell ISD is one of the worst school districts around here. I would not go there.
