I've always enjoyed staying in hotels (I must be weird... ) and living in a high-rise would afford me the same type of concierge, turn-key lifestyle.
Are there any particular high-rises in Dallas that stand out as something special? I don't need (or want) a penthouse or anything; just a nice, 2 or 3 bed/2 bath residence. Anyone live in a high-rise; anything I need to know about them?
Thanks again Everyone here is very helpful and I fully appreciate it .

The best high rise is in North Dallas and it is called the Bonaventure. It's a wonderful place to live--all the amenities: indoor and outdorr pools, hot tubs, sauna, steamroom, concierge service, covered parking, accepts pets, restaurants and shopping nearby; some are over 2000sq ft and well under $300,000; best view is facing north--see the sun come up and go down-gorgeous.

I know this is an old post but Greer Garson lived in 3525 Turtle Creek. "3525" was the first luxury high-rise built along Turtle Creek and dates from the 1950's. For decades it was the most exclusive building in town and, although still full of quiet/old money, it has been upstaged by flashier buildings with lots more windows and higher ceilings. It still has a certain panache, however. I've never been in it but an interior designer friend has done several condos in it and said the ceilings are low and the decorative concrete grilles that are so pretty from the outside block the views from inside. I still think it's a pretty building and the setting is gorgeous.
