Hi -

Somewhat silly question. We're moving to the Plano area in a few weeks. Of course the first thing I check is if my beloved Green Bay Packers play Dallas and why yes they do, on November 29

Tickets go on sale May 7th. Do tickets sell out for all Dallas home games as soon as they go on sale in Spring or it safe to wait a while? Spending a few hundred of a November game right now is not in the budget.

On a related note; I'm somewhere in the mid 2000s in the Packer season ticket waiting list. So I should be eligible for tickets in about 327 years. Only 7 become available each year.

Thanks

I think you'd be fine if you waited a while to get tickets. I don't think every game sells out this far in advance. I'm not even sure every game sells out, actually!

Normally- single game tickets sell out 1-2-3. Last year, you couldnt even buy single game tickets to a DAL game. Season ticket holders bought them all. But- you could still find tickets through stubhub, ebay etc. This yr, since they are going to the new stadium, I have "heard" that they will not sell-out. Season tickets are too damn expensive and there are also soooo many more seats. However, I would get tickets as soon as they become available, just to be safe. They go on sale March 7th. I'll be getting 6 for the DAL/NYG game!! GO NYG!!!

yes--think Jerry will be cutting his price even more than the paulty cut advertised in sunday's paper--2500for the option/seats in nosebleed section--

if he does not sell out--he does not get to market tv air time--that is where he is making his BIG money--so he will be buying those tickets for charity if he can't get season tickets sold...
and there probably will be some tickets on first day
but people who did not pay for season tickets will be buying multiple games is what I am thinking--and avoiding the option
paying on stubhub is always a crap shoot...

I also heard that as the new stadium is unlikely to sell out the Cowboys will sell single-game tickets this summer. Can you recommend sources to watch for an announcement of the date? Cowboys marketing told and emailed me they are going to sell out so I should buy season tickets and sell the ones I don't want. Thank you

of course that is what Cowboy marketing would tell you--do you consider that an unbiased source?

the best place to monitor is probably the Cowboys' site

It's unlikely all 100,000 will sell so speculation is after sending out season tickets (next month or so) remainder will be made available. Don't know where else to check other than Cowboy's site?

I am sure Fox News will know as soon as Jerry makes a decision

and Jerry is not selling that stadium out--even with single ticket sales I bet--
wonder who will be the lucky charity...

first one I could think of would be active duty military from FT Hood who have come back from Iraq tour
then maybe some organizations like Meals on Wheels, Big Brother/Big Sister,
