Want to know Recreation activities in Plano,Dallas (Midway: shops, communities)

I need your help in making my stay in Plano a memorable one.
I am a fun loving guy with lot of excitement for music, trekking, traveling and so on. I am looking for Indian or precisely Desi communities who organize/conduct these events or atleast group of people who are interested in these activities.
I would appreciate if anyone can provide information about the same.

For trekking, check out the bulletin boards and info kiosks at one of the REI or one of the smaller outdoor shops in the area. There is an REI store on Preston Road and Plano Parkway, and another on I635, between Midway and the Tolway.
