TxArmyFamily020507 is on a distinguished road
Default Wellington Trace Subdivision Little Elm area

We are moving to the area from out of state. My husband is in the Army and will be Recruiting in Frisco. We found a house in Wellington Trace Subdivision to rent but it is a new construction so having a hard time finding information on the area and school. Its saying Little Elm but from a crossroad I was given mapquest shows it more in Oak Point. I just know its off of 720 towards 380. I have a 5 year old that will be in Kindergarten this next year. Any info you can give us on the area would be appreciated. All of our family is in Texas some of which is in McKinney but not familiar with this particular area on Lake Lewsiville other then Frisco/The Colony/Plano areas etc.

Little Elm is kind of an up and coming suburban area for younger....married couples w/ young children. We are in Lewisville ISD which is very good. Frisco ISD is also good. I haven't heard a lot about Little Elm ISD. I know they are going through a lot of growing pains. That area ...my actually be in Frisco ISD if it is on 380. Have you checked? I know some of Little Elm is in the Frisco ISD.

You may want to go to Little Elm's website to check address with their school locator system and for that matter the same with Frisco. A lot of that area from my understanding may be Little Elm but really is Frisco ISD. Frisco ISD is really good and up and coming where Little Elm isn't quite there yet. My infor. comes from friends that live in that area.
