Hi all, I've never lived in an apartment that didn't include water in the rent. But I noticed most apartments in dallas don't cover water. Can you guys tell me what the cost of water would be for an every-day bath taker? (sometimes twice if it's really cold or really stressful! lol)

It's based on usage right?

I take two long showers per day, do lots of laundry, use my dishwasher regularly, and I average about $17 per month. Some places charge a flat fee based on square footage but I live in a community that sub-meters which means my bill is based on usage.

What about electric bill, it'll be just my hubs and me, no kids, no pets, I am somewhat of a clening freak.
What kind of bill can we expect during winter and or summer in an apartment ?
Right now we live in suburban area in my parents' home, so I don't believe that the utilities cost here is comparable with an apartment ...
Just wondering what to expect
Thanks!

my water bill runs about $20/mo no washer, but I do have a dishwasher. My bf takes two baths/showers a day, and I take one.

I live in a community that charges based on sq footage and number of ppl living there. So it's just me and about 700 sq ft and I pay $23 a month. I have washer/dryer and dishwasher.
