Default Great Diner in Frisco Area?

Hello,

My Brooklyn-born, Queens-raised father in law has moved to Frisco after 65 years at my request and having been here a week is in desperate need for a traditional New York-style diner. Does anyone have any suggestions in the Frisco area where the guy could get a tasty two eggs over with a side of home fries?

PS, the grumpy guy called the breakfast taco at Rudy's "delicious", which is the highest praise I have ever heard out of his mouth, so there is hope yet....

Oh goodness, not in Frisco that I know of. However, Cindy's NY Deli is authentic (coming from a former NYer) and is in Addison on Midway off Beltline. Probably a 20 minute drive down the Tollroad.

If he's willing to drive further, The Mecca is on Harry Hines and Northwest Highway and is fantastic! Favorite in Dallas. Momma's Daughters is also great.

Not in Frisco. Probably wouldn't like Firehouse. The best are Cindy's & Deli-News.
