Which side of I-30?

Garland is doing a lot to help in that area with the new development around Bass Pro and 190 coming in right there. It would depend on how close to the 190 interchange this property is. There are apartments and condos in that area. Some do better than others. The ones over along Marvin Loving have more problems with crime. Mostly petty stuff like car burglary and such. Still it happens in those apartments pretty often. Outside of those apartments along Marvin Loving everything is much better. We know someone that has a condo over there on the north side of 30 and it has held its value. Another person we know lives in a single family house on the south side of 30 and they just finished practically gutting their house and totally updating it. They decided to just stay there and tear things out than move as they like the area.

You can contact the Garland PD and find out about crime in the immediate area of the property your looking at.

The park back on Zion and boat ramp is nice. We use it a couple of times a year and have had no problems with anything while there.

Which side of I-30? The left side if you are headed east on 1-30. I am interested in the properties by the marina along marina dr. It is a combination of duplexes and condos.

There are some very nice home in the area, but personally I would avoid buying there until they complete that arm of 190. Despite how far a long 190 is there is no hard and fast route. Several houses were already demolished, and the construction is just a few yards from the remaining homes. The people living in the area were under the impression that the highway was not going to practically built on top of them. I can't imagine having a highway in your backyard be too good for property values.
