Amen! I just don't understand the attraction to huge homes. My daughter had one and now lives in a smaller home. It's so nice and cozy and I like it so much better than the humongous one she lived in before.

I agree. The more square feet you have, the more you have to clean, too! My 1820 square foot house is plenty big enough for me.

What I found is that I really like a single story home. Not having to deal with stairs is awesome - and we use the entire house because of it. Much better for entertaining also. Now, if someone would kick in some bucks to the Home Renovation fund, we could pour a new driveway, do some landscaping and get that new fence we've been dreaming about. Takers? We're 3 years into our home and have 2-3 years left and it'll be totally brought up to date.
