And unless Lucas has changed their city code, they require any exterior structures, INCLUDING a horse barn, to be finished with the same exterior materials as the house. A brick horse barn is NOT practical in Texas due to our heat, and if you store hay in a brick barn, it is a HUGE fire hazard. (Hay has to be stored in a barn with plenty to ventilation to prevent spontaneous combustion.) That's probably why there are few horse places in Lucas...
