Water bills?
Just curious what everyones average monthly water bills are. Typically the water bills include trash and sewer, so just put town you are in and how much your bill is. We live in Castle Hills (Lewisville) and our bill this month was $80.00. Sprinklers are off as well. I think thats a little high....

Wow, ours was higher than it would normally be as well Hmm, even on the bill it shows the chart from the last 12 months and compared to last October our usage was WAY UP. That can't be right...... ????
Anyway:
Water: $45.80
Sewer: $56.64 (this might be the problem???)
Storm Water: $3.96
Waste (trash): $18.76
Total: $125.16
City of Garland
I am going to have to find out about this as it is WAY TOO HIGH for October and the sprinklers not being on at all.

My last bill was $46. House is 1350 sq feet. No sprinklers, no pool.
Our highest bill in summer when I had to care for my plants every day was $86.

$56.64 for sewer? Something sounds very wrong there.

I guess if we went by sq ft mine isn't too bad. 4680 sq ft, 4 bathrooms, pool, large landscaped yard w/ sprinkler system (off for the last month), new sod put in for half the yard a few weeks ago, 2 girls and a mom that love long hot showers and a seperate 1000 sq ft garage w/ running water. Still comes out high compared to last years. Looked at the last 2 months and they were high sewer bills as well. Wonder why dh had just been paying it without question?????

Approx. 680sq ft apt, w/ Valet trash pick up.
The total for two months was $25 dollars, don't know how much we paid for each thing though.

City of Flower Mound, 3300 Sq ft ,sprinklers - may be few days. October water bill was $ 88 (Includes water, Sewer and Trash pick-up). September was a shocking $ 120 with Sprinklers on.
The Sewer amount included is $ 33 which remains same throughout the year on monthly bills based on the water consumption for 2 months during end Nov - 1st week Jan ( i don't recollect the exact dates).
I feel even $ 88 is high for us. We find Dallas Water & Electricity bills very high compared to other cities. Our friend in Denver never pay more than $ 40/ month and their water gallons consumption was similar to ours. In Kansas we never paid more than $ 60.
