Restaurant with meeting room
Hey Gang,
I'm involved in an association made up mostly of men and we are searching around for a restaurant with a meeting room that will handle between 50 to 75 people. The meeting location is best if it's in the mid cities area like Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Irving, Arlington, Grand Prairie, etc... You know the areas. Our members come from as far away as Greenville to Mineral Wells to Gainsville to Waco. Our old BBQ meeting place got swallowed up by Jerry's World in the shadows of the new Cowboy Stadium and no longer exist. We are a bunch of carnivores so the Salad Bar Restaurants are out. Texmex also works.

I think Pappasito's on the I-30 access road just west of Center St. (by the Home Depot) has a separate room in the back that can be closed.

Thanks! We'll have someone check it out. How's the construction on I-30 now days? Did they ever complete that road?
More suggestions?

You may want to try a nearby hotel, one that has a restaurant. I've done that before for professional meetings. They usually have a conference room to hold that many people.

Spring Creek BBQ locations all have a back room that can be reserved for meetings.

Thanks Christie. We are looking at the Spring Creek BBQ in Irving but I read a review on some online restaurant guide and that Spring Creek BBQ didn't fair well. The one in Richardson is always packed. I was wondering if anybody from the forum has had a good experience there. The best BBQ are the hole in the walls but they don't have a meeting room.

Highly recommend the Cool River Cafe in Las Colinas in Irving - they have several private rooms that might work for ya, great food, service, atmosphere, drinks, etc., with entertainment and special events.

Oh, I agree!
My husband and I enjoy Spring Creek. It's not the world's best BBQ, but it is good. I've never been to the Irving one. We live just down the road from the Grapevine one and eat there often.
